Myspace.com:
Myspace is much like friendster except it is new and improved. Myspace lets anyone view whatever profiles they want to. You do not need to add a person in order to see their personal photos and profiles. Myspace also gives people the option of creating their own blogs, bulletins, sending instant messages, and personal messages. Myspace also has a music section where bands can create their own profiles and post new music for listeners. Myspace has 54 million people connected. That is the most of any interactive friend site. This is primarily due to the fact that there are not any deterrents when creating a profile, such as thefacebook.com where you need a valid college e mail address to join. Many people feel unsafe using myspace because it is not a private web site. Many people also get cyberstalked on myspace through random messages from various fellow myspacers. This site by far has more options than any other and that is why myspace continues to thrive. Myspace is also used as a generation Y version of sites such as match.com and other dating web sites. There is often a large amount of people who use the myspace message option as a dating maneuver. People usually judge myspace as a lame way to socialize although the founder Tom must be doing something right considering 54 million people utilize this trend.
